Registration

Tackle Football: Fall 2024

Tackle Football is for youths ages 5-16.

All players must have a Virginia DMV Issued ID. No other form of ID is accepted. This means that we cannot accept birth certificates, military IDs, passports or any form of ID other than a VA DMV ID. 

Practice starts August 5th.

Games start the 3rd Saturday of September, which is September 21st.

All players must participate in an official weigh-in. The first weigh-in is free. Therefore we encourage all athletes to weigh-in the first week. 
  • The first weigh-in is August 10th (free) at Marshall HS
  • The second weigh-in is August 17th ($30) at Marshall HS
  • The third weigh-in is August 24th ($40) at Marshall HS
  • Last official weigh in August 31st (60$) at Waters Field Vienna
  • All weigh-ins after that are considered "emergency weigh-ins" ($60) and will take place during the week at Waters Field.
Please be advised that all players are responsible for the weigh-in fees and are paid to Northern Virginia Youth Football League (NVYFL), not ABGC.

Fee structure: 
$150  (Base cost)
- $5   (Registration completed online)
- $95  (Scholarship player*)
+ $3  (Credit card processing fee)
+ $50 (Field use fee if not Fairfax County resident)

*Scholarship Players must register at the office. A scholarship player is a player who:
- is a Fairfax County Resident,     
- AND qualifies in Fairfax County schools for free and reduced lunch,     
- AND shows proof of the previous item at the office,     
- AND pays the $55.00 per player non-refundable reduced fee.

Determine your child’s division using the guide below:
- U6 Provisional Team: Born before 10/1/2017
- Pee Wee Division (Age 6):        Born on or after 10/1/2017
- Ankle Biters (Ages 7-9, under 70 lbs.): Born on or after 10/1/2014
- Age 10, under 85 lbs.:              Born on or after 10/1/2013
- Age 11, under 95 lbs:              Born on or after 10/1/2012
- Age 12, under 105 lbs.:             Born on or after 10/1/2011
- Age 13, under 120 lbs.:             Born on or after 10/1/2010
​​- Age 14, under 135 lbs.:             Born on or after 10/1/2009
- Ages 15 - 16, under 155 lbs.:   Born on or after 10/1/2007

Player registration is not complete until full payment is received online or at the office. Players will NOT be assigned to a team until payment is received.

Cheerleading: Fall 2024

Cheerleading is for youths between the ages of 5 (turning 6 by 12/31/24) and 15.

There are no tryouts, all are welcome.

Practices are at Annandale Terrace on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6PM - 8PM. 

After registering, all cheerleaders, if requested by ABGC, must submit copy of proof of birth. MAIL OR DELIVER 

Fee structure: 
$150  (Base cost)
- $5   (Registration completed online)
- $5 (Assistant coach)
- $95  (Scholarship player*)
+ $3  (Credit card processing fee)
+ $50 (Field use fee if not Fairfax County resident)
***Additional Fees for supplies such as shoes, bows etc. due after registration

Soccer: Recreation Ages 2 & 3 - Fall 2024

Both Soccer Score (2's) & Junior Mites (3's) will meet on Wednesday nights at the James Lee Community Center.

Overflow teams will be scheduled on other weeknights in the Falls Church / Annandale area, to be determined based on registrations.

Soccer at this level is designed to be fun and teach the basics of the sport.

Both divisions are co-ed.

Jerseys are included!

- Soccer Score & More (2's) birthday range: 10/1/2021 - 10/1/2022

Top Soccer (players with disabilities) - Fall 2024

***Note- This program is only for athletes with disabilities. Register for Recreational Soccer if you are not a disability player***

The Top Soccer program is only for athletes with disabilities Ages 5 - 18.

All games will be held at the Sprague Center, located at 4414 Holborn Ave. Annandale, VA 22003.

Games are normally played on Sundays from 4-5 pm.

The season starts in early-mid September and runs on weekends for 8 weeks.

Players receive a T-shirt for participation.

This program is run in conjunction with the Jewish Community Center.

+ $3  (Credit card processing fee)
+ $50 (Field use fee if not Fairfax County resident)

Soccer: Recreation Pre-K to Grade 4 - Fall 2024

Teams are coed through the Kindergarten age groups. The season goes for 8-10 game games. 

Every player is guaranteed to play half or more of every game regardless of size or physical ability. 

Teams are formed on a school and neighborhood concept by grade level.

Fee structure: 
$150  (Base cost)
- $5   (Registration completed online)
- $10  (Assistant coach discount for one child)
- $75  (First time player discount, one-time)
- $95  (Scholarship player*)
- $150 (Head coach or league commissioner discount for one child)
+ $3  (Credit card processing fee)
+ $50 (Field use fee if not Fairfax County resident)

*Scholarship Players must register at the office. A scholarship player is a player who:
- is a Fairfax County Resident,     
- AND qualifies in Fairfax County schools for free and reduced lunch,     
- AND shows proof of the previous item at the office,

For the little ones:
- Mighty Mites are pre-kindergarten players
- An adult MUST accompany the child through the entire practice
