Baseball: T-Ball - Spring 2019

READ THIS FIRST: 

T-Ball
  • T-Ball is for boys and girls in K through 2nd grades. 
  • The season is an 8-10 game season, begins in Mid-April and runs through Mid-June.
  • Practices will be one hour after school, and games will be played on Saturday. 

The cost for Recreation Soccer is for participation.The fee structure is based upon whether a player:    
  - is new or returning (one-time discount as a new player)   
  - registration is done online or (for a $5 additional charge) at the office    
  - parent volunteers as an asst., head coach or commissioner   
  - family is a Fairfax County Resident

Online registration is not available for Scholarship Players. Scholarship Players register at the office   
  - a scholarship player is a player who:
      - is a Fairfax County Resident,
      - AND qualifies in Fairfax County Schools for free and reduced lunch,       
      - AND shows proof of the previous item at the office 
      - AND pays the $40.00 per player reduced fee

League Commissioners and Head Coaches get one child free.  Assistant Coaches get a $10 discount for one child.

All online fees are due when registering. 

Player registration is NOT complete until full payment is received online or at the office; players will NOT be assigned to a team until payment is received.

Soccer: Recreation Pre-K to Grade 4 - Spring 2019

READ THIS FIRST:

Recreation Soccer - Pre-K to Grade 4 - is for Mitey Mites who are at least 3 years old by 10/1/2018 and for boys and girls in K through 4th grades. Teams are coed through Kindergarten.  There is an 8-10 game season.  2nd graders can play recreational soccer as well as Junior Reds.

Every player is guaranteed to play half or more of every game regardless of size or physical ability.  Teams are formed on a school and neighborhood concept by grade level.

The cost for Recreation Soccer is for participation.

Soccer: Recreation - U11-U19 - Spring 2019

Recreation Soccer for u11-u19 (under 11-under 19) ages is for boys and girls ages 10-18.

Important notice: after registering, all U11 - U19 (SFL) players must submit copy of proof of birth to coach or abgc office before being added to official roster.

Soccer: Top Soccer - Spring 2019

READ THIS FIRST: 

Top Soccer
  • This program is only for athletes with disabilities ages 5 - 18.
  • All games will be held at the Sprague Center, located at 4414 Holborn Ave. Annandale, VA 22003.
  • The season starts in mid April and runs on weekends for 8 weeks.
  • Players receive a Tee Shirt for participation.
  • This program is run in conjunction with the Jewish Community Center.

2019 Atlantic Overnight Soccer Camp - Aug 4-9

The Annandale Boys & Girls Club of Northern Virginia is proud to present our 36th annual overnight camp.  Our “Atlantic Soccer Camp” is conducted at Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, Delaware. 

Overview

ABGC and the area’s top coaches combine to provide instructional soccer camps for the recreational and competitive level player.  Creative and challenging activities provide a FUN atmosphere for your soccer player to develop/refine their soccer and sportsmanship skills.  Campers train in small groups, or by teams based on age, ability but ultimately their “comfort zone.”  Three sessions a day – A morning session after breakfast, afternoon following lunch and an evening session after an ocean swim and dinner!

       - Ends  11:00am Friday,   August 10th

Cost

- Day Camper $225/week
 - Resident Camper $510/week
 - Team Discount $460/week (minimum of 8 players required for discount)
 - Full payment must be received by July 30, 2018.  Late applications will only be accepted on a space available basis.

Camp Director, Kip Germain: ABGC Club President. USSF A Youth, English FA, NSCAA licensed. USASA Region1 Women’s and VYSA Staff Coach. Former Professional for Washington & Atlanta teams. Coached 6 National Championships. DC/VA Hall of Fame.

Assistant Camp Director, Trevor Parker:
Current AUFC Director of Coaching, NSCAA Premier License, Won multiple VYSA State Cup Championships, Previous clubs in England include Tottenham Hotspurs, Luton Town & Barnet FC.

AUFC Technical Director, Bo Amato:
Current AUFC Director of Coaching. USSF B license. Head Coach at Langley and St Stephens High School. 6 VYSA State Championships.

AUFC Boys Director of Coaching, Carlos Aranda: 
English FA International License (EUFA B), English FA Level 2 & 1 License, NSCAA Premier Diploma. Former Paraguay National Player. Coached in Paraguay, Japan and the USA. Yorktown HS Varsity Boys Head Coach. Multiple championships with High School Boys and Girls Varsity Teams. Multiple championships with Travel Boys and Girls Teams.

AUFC Girls Director of Coaching, Scott Norberg:
Current AUFC Girls Director of Coaching. USSF National‘C’ license, NSCAA National Diploma. 12 years youth coaching experience including Assistant Coach at Paul IV High School.

Coach Gavin Stevens:
Current AUFC U10s and U14s Girls coach, former George Mason University player (1999-2001) All American player in 2001. Currently holds a USSF‘B’ license and a CBF/UEFA approved license from Brazil.

Coach Michael Arandia:
Current AUFC 2003s Boys coach;USSF Licence; Former coach to the #1 Team in Maryland for 2 years (2011-2013) ASA Blackhawks; Played college soccer for Univalle in Bolivia.

Coach Kim Germain:
D License, A/C Marymount and Marshall, Coach Madeira, VYSA ODP Staff. All American JMU, USA U23 Team.

Coach Eddie Marin:
Current AUFC U9s and U10s Girls coach. 10 years coaching experience. Former assistant State coach for VYSA ODP program In 2008/2009. Currently holds USSF National Youth License, National ‘D’ License and IYCA Certified National Speed & Agility Instructor.

Assistant Coaches:
Ik Addy, Saul Pacas, Sam Yardley, Billy Germain

Each camper must bring: soccer ball, shin guards, cleats, tennis shoes, bed linens – twin sheets, pillow, blanket/sleeping bag, toiletries/sunscreen, bathing suit, 2 towels and at least 6 shirts, 6 shorts, 6 pairs of socks for training.  Additional casual clothing, jacket, sandals, a portable fan and extension cord are also recommended   PLEASE LABEL EVERYTHING!
