Tackle Football: Fall 2024

Tackle Football is for youths ages 5-16.

Your youth must have a valid id to register. The following forms of ID are accepted:

Passport
DMV Issued ID
Military ID
Birth Certificate w/ Parent ID
Fairfax County Public Schools Student Vue profile (which has picture, address and DOB)

Practice starts August 5th.

Games start the 3rd Saturday of September, which is September 21st.

All players must participate in an official weigh-in. The first weigh-in is free. Therefore we encourage all athletes to weigh-in the first week.

The first weigh-in is August 10th (free) at Marshall HS
The second weigh-in is August 17th ($30) at Marshall HS
The third weigh-in is August 24th ($40) at Marshall HS
Last official weigh in August 31st ($60) at Waters Field Vienna
All weigh-ins after that are considered "emergency weigh-ins" ($60) and will take place during the week at Waters Field.

Please be advised that all players are responsible for the weigh-in fees and are paid to Northern Virginia Youth Football League (NVYFL), not ABGC.

Fee structure:

$150 (Base cost)

- $5 (Registration completed online)

- $95 (Scholarship player*)

+ $3 (Credit card processing fee)

+ $50 (Field use fee if not Fairfax County resident)

+ $XX (Weigh in fee (also designated as a late fee) if registering past August 17th)

*Scholarship Players must register at the office. A scholarship player is a player who:

- is a Fairfax County Resident,

- AND qualifies in Fairfax County schools for free and reduced lunch,

- AND shows proof of the previous item at the office,

- AND pays the $55.00 per player non-refundable reduced fee.

Determine your child’s division using the guide below:

- U6 Provisional Team: Born before 10/1/2017

- Pee Wee Division (Age 6): Born on or after 10/1/2017

- Ankle Biters (Ages 7-9, under 70 lbs.): Born on or after 10/1/2014

- Age 10, under 85 lbs.: Born on or after 10/1/2013

- Age 11, under 95 lbs: Born on or after 10/1/2012

- Age 12, under 105 lbs.: Born on or after 10/1/2011

- Age 13, under 120 lbs.: Born on or after 10/1/2010

- Age 14, under 135 lbs.: Born on or after 10/1/2009

- Ages 15 - 16, under 155 lbs.: Born on or after 10/1/2007

Player registration is not complete until full payment is received online or at the office. Players will NOT be assigned to a team until payment is received.

Eligibility: This offer is available to players who have a valid and paid registration for tackle football with the Annandale Boys & Girls Club for the Fall 2024 season.
Offer Details: Eligible players may receive one free registration for another sport offered by the Annandale Boys & Girls Club through the Spring 2025 season. The free registration is limited to one per player.
Proof of Registration: To redeem the free registration, the player must present proof of their paid registration for the Fall 2024 tackle football season. Proof must be presented to the Annandale Boys & Girls Club office during regular business hours.
Player Identity: The player redeeming the free registration must be the same individual who registered for the Fall 2024 tackle football season.
Limitations: This offer cannot be combined with any other promotions or discounts. The free registration is non-transferable and has no cash value.
Redemption Period: Proof of registration and the free registration must be completed during the applicable registration period for the Spring 2025 season.
Changes and Cancellations: The Annandale Boys & Girls Club reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer at any time without prior notice.
