Thanks to the generosity of a club donor, twenty young basketball players from the Annandale Boys & Girls Club (ABGC) experienced a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend a Harlem Globetrotters game. This incredible act of kindness gave these young athletes the chance to witness world-class basketball entertainment, dazzling tricks, and the joy of the game on a whole new level.

The sponsored trip, which took place at EagleBank Arena on Friday 3/7/25, was more than just a night of fun—it was an inspiration for the kids, many of whom dream of playing basketball at higher levels. The Harlem Globetrotters, known for their electrifying performances and commitment to community engagement, put on a show that left the young athletes in awe.

“Seeing the excitement on their faces as they watched the Globetrotters in action was priceless,” said Juan Colon, Basketball Commissioner at ABGC. “This generous donation allowed these kids to experience the magic of basketball in a way they never have before. It was a night they will never forget.”
