VYSA Hall of Fame

We are proud to honor Frank Gorman and Lula Bauer into the VYSA Hall of Fame. Frank coached with ABGC, and was the first President of the Adult Metro-DC Virginia Soccer Association. Lula played one season with our Over-40 team, and also was a parent to her son's ABGC team which lost in the State final. She has been President of Lee-Mt Vernon. She is an officer with Women and Girls in Soccer, which hosts an annual Columbus Day Tournament, and the Soccer Representative to the County Athletic Council.

Ann Germain, ABGC Co-director of the 2-3 year old Soccer Scores and More, is being awarded the ODP Coach of the Year. She played for the USA from 1984-86 (losing in the final of the unofficial World Cup in 86), and the 85ers are being honored 3/16 at the opening of the new Women's Soccer Stadium in Kansas City. Patrick Mahomes is a partial owner of the team and should be there. She coached both recreational and travel league teams in ABGC, and played on 3 ABGC National Over-30 National Championships, and was a finalist in the National Amateur Cup.
